Blitz is a sixty-second aim-and-reaction test. Targets rise out of a perspective room at random depths and positions, each wrapped in a ring that drains as its time runs out. Tap it before the ring empties and it is yours. Let it drain and you lose your chain.
It is the simplest game on the site and by some distance the most stressful, because the clock is not just a limit — it is a resource you spend and earn.
The four targets
- ● Plain — 100 points. Slowest, largest, most forgiving.
- » Fast — 220 points. Smaller and disappears in roughly half the time.
- ★ Gold — 500 points and adds 1.5 seconds to the clock. Always worth chasing.
- ✕ Trap — hitting one costs 300 points, 1.5 seconds and your entire chain. Never tap it. Let it expire on its own; expiring traps cost you nothing.
Each type carries a distinct symbol as well as a distinct colour, so the game is playable without relying on colour perception at all.
The clock
You start with sixty seconds. A miss — tapping empty space — costs half a second. A trap costs a second and a half. A gold gives you a second and a half back. Good players finish with more time played than they started with; careless ones burn the round down in forty seconds of wild tapping.
The clock is not just a limit. It is a resource you spend and earn.
Scoring and chains
Points are multiplied by your chain, up to ×10. The chain counts consecutive successful hits and resets on a trap, or when a real target escapes. It does not reset on a plain miss — only your clock suffers for that.
Difficulty
Spawn rate rises and target lifetimes shorten steadily across the sixty seconds, and traps become more common as the round goes on. The last fifteen seconds are roughly twice as dense as the first fifteen.
