About Perimeter

Perimeter is a radial wave shooter. Your core sits fixed in the middle of the arena and enemies spiral inward from every direction at once. You do not move — you rotate. The turret fires continuously in whatever direction you are pointing, so the entire game is a question of where to look and when to look somewhere else.

That constraint is what makes it interesting. In a normal shooter you can retreat. Here the arena has no corners and no cover, and every second you spend clearing one side is a second the other side gets closer.

Common questions about Perimeter

Do I move at all?

No. Your core is fixed at the centre — you only rotate. That is the whole design constraint, and it is why the game is about attention rather than positioning.

Do I need to click to shoot?

No. The turret auto-fires. Your only input is where it is pointing.

What are the bigger enemies?

Every fourth wave ends with a boss: slower, much tougher, with a health bar above it. It is worth 500 points and it will reach you if you split your attention.

Does everyone get the same waves?

Yes. Wave sizes, spawn angles and timings are generated from the calendar date, so every player has the same run available on the same day.

Is it playable on a phone?

Yes — drag anywhere on the playfield to aim. It is arguably easier on touch than with a mouse.
