Blitz No. 11
The Blitz puzzle from 8 August 2026, exactly as it was played.
About Blitz
Blitz is a sixty-second aim-and-reaction test. Targets rise out of a perspective room at random depths and positions, each wrapped in a ring that drains as its time runs out. Tap it before the ring empties and it is yours. Let it drain and you lose your chain.
It is the simplest game on the site and by some distance the most stressful, because the clock is not just a limit — it is a resource you spend and earn.
Common questions about Blitz
What happens if I ignore a trap?
Nothing at all. Traps that expire on their own cost you no points, no time and no chain. Ignoring them is always correct.
Does missing break my chain?
No — only a trap hit or a real target escaping breaks the chain. A plain miss just costs you half a second.
Is the target sequence the same for everyone?
Yes. Positions, types and timings all come from the calendar date, so the run is directly comparable and a challenge link reproduces it exactly.
Can I finish with more than sixty seconds?
The clock is capped at sixty, so gold targets top you back up rather than extending the round beyond a minute.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, and touch is arguably faster than a mouse here since you can hit two areas of the screen without travelling between them.
