About Ricochet

Ricochet is a slingshot physics game. Three towers of stacked blocks stand across the field, each with a golden ◆ core balanced on top. You get four shots. Drag back from the sling, judge the arc, release.

The blocks are not scenery — they are a real (if small) rigid-body simulation. They take damage, they crack, they topple, and a falling block damages whatever it lands on. The best shots in Ricochet are almost never the ones that hit a core directly; they are the ones that take a supporting leg out and let three tonnes of stone do the work.

Common questions about Ricochet

Do I have to hit the cores directly?

No, and usually you should not. A core falling to the ground from a collapsing tower is destroyed the same as one hit directly — and the collapse itself scores a much larger chain.

Why did my shot bounce off?

The projectile loses most of its energy on each impact. Stone in particular will stop a shot that has already been through something else. Aim to hit your most valuable target first.

Are the stacks the same for everyone?

Yes. Tower heights, block materials and layouts are generated from the date, so everyone faces the identical build on a given day.

Is there a time limit?

No. Take as long as you like lining up each of the four shots.

What is a good score?

Clearing all three cores at all is a solid result. Doing it with two or more shots spare, off large chain collapses, is where the big numbers come from.
