Dash No. 6
The Dash puzzle from 3 August 2026, exactly as it was played.
About Dash
Dash is a three-lane endless runner. You accelerate constantly down a receding corridor while blocks, bars, hurdles and pickup arcs come at you. Your only inputs are lane, jump and slide, and the entire game is about reading the next four seconds of track fast enough to pick the right one.
Unlike most runners, the course is not random per run: it is generated from the date, so the same obstacle sequence is waiting for everybody all day. That turns it from a reflex test into something you can genuinely learn.
Common questions about Dash
Can I jump over the tall blocks?
No. Blocks must be avoided by changing lane. Bars are slid under and hurdles are jumped; blocks have no vertical answer, which is why double-block rows are the real test.
Is the course random?
No. It is generated from the date, so everybody runs the identical course all day and a challenge link reproduces it exactly. That is what makes learning it worthwhile.
How many lives do I get?
Three. Each hit also resets your pickup chain, which usually costs more score than the life itself.
Does it get faster forever?
Speed ramps up over roughly the first three thousand metres and then holds. By that point the obstacle spacing is doing most of the work.
What is a good distance?
Getting past 800 metres means you are reading the track rather than reacting to it. Past 1,600 you are planning lane changes two obstacles ahead.
